TERMS AND CONDITIONS


The Terms & Conditions and the use of this Website are provided by L’Amitié Wine Estate &     Guest House, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities.


General terms & Conditions for reservations

  •  You warrant that by making this booking, you are over the age of 18 and that all information given by you to L’Amitié Wine Estate & Guest House is accurate, true, and correct.

  • Whilst every effort is made to update the information provided on this Website, L’Amitié Wine Estate & Guest House accepts no liability for the accuracy and / or completeness of the information provided.

  • L’Amitié Wine Estate & Guest House accepts no liability for any loss or damage to your computer or interception, or use, of your credit card information, are howsoever caused.

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by South African law and the guest submits to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any issue that may arise.

  • These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties.

Deposits, pre – payments and cancellation policy
 

  • When making this reservation, the booking will be secured by making a 50% payment on the full amount for accommodation (The Deposit).

  • A R30 000.00 damage deposit must be paid with the balance payment 30 days prior to arrival. The damage deposit will be refunded.

  • Guests will not be checked in until the reservation has been paid for in full.

  • In the event that this reservation is cancelled within 7 days of the day of arrival or if the reservation is not taken up, the full deposit amount will be forfeited. 

  • Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to arrival, the property may not be used for any purpose other than private accommodation.

  • Arrival time 14h00pm on arrival date.

  • Departure time 10h00am on the departure date. Should you need another check in or departure time it can be arranged.

  • This agreement is of no force and effect unless confirmed by L’Amitié Wine Estate & Guest House in writing. 

     

Conditions of Residence
 

  • The guest will be required to sign the registration form and indemnity on arrival and he/she agrees to the Terms & Conditions of residence and will be personally liable for all amounts arising from the residence of him/her self and / or his/her party at L’Amitié Wine Estate & Guest House.

  • Neither L’Amitié Wine Estate & Guest House, its owners, their agents, contractors or employees shall be held liable for any loss, damage, destruction, injury or death which may be caused to any person or the assets, property or any other item of equipment or the likes thereof which may occur as a result of any foreseen or unforeseen event or any act or omission on the part of the Company, its owners, their agents, contractors or employees.

  • No more that 10 (ten) guest including children.

  • Children and babies are welcome, however they must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children above 12 are charged as adults.

  • No smoking in the house or rooms.

  • Do not remove keys from windows or interior doors.

  • Do not light fire anywhere other than in the designated fireplace or BBQ facilities.

  • Please bring cushions for outdoor furniture in if it is raining.

  • Discharge of firearms is not permitted on the property by Law.

  • No fireworks.

  • No pets allowed.

  • Ornaments in the house should not be used or moved.

  • No jumping or diving into the pool.

 Additional Cost
 

  • Where additional servicing is required an additional charge will be added.

  • Any loss or missing keys will be charged at R75.00 per key and R500.00 per remote.

  • ALL BRAKEAGES AND DAMAGES beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from the damage deposit.

Visa requirements
 

  • Please check your visa requirements carefully as you may be denied entry to SA. If travelling with children under 18 be sure to bring their UNABRIDGED birth certificates and confirm which travel documents, you require – here is a link to SA Home Affairs ‘Regulations on Traveling with Children:
